Magazine name and font evaluation

The ideology or feel that I want my indie magazine to convey is that this is a more highbrow, artistic magazine than some others. This will have to be evident in my magazines layout and connotations but possibly most important is my magazines name. Because of this I have considered various titles that could fit this style, and would encourage my target audience, who I would say analyse music more in depth than most. Some initial ideas for names were: The Pallet, The Canvas, Artist, Inspired/Inspirer, and Sophisticate. Eventually I decided on The Canvas as my magazines name, partly because I think it has the best ring to it, but mostly because I believe it serves as the best connotation for what I want my magazine to be, a canvas with the purpose of being filled with art, which again, is want my target audience will view music as.

After deciding on my magazine name I had to consider what font I wanted to use for it. Like the name itself, the font would have to purvey a sort of sophisticated look that my target audience would be able to identify with. These 3 fonts are the most likely I will use (one of which is simply an italicized version of the other).

While I may change my mind later in production, at this point I think I will use this font for my magazine name. I also have not yet considered the colour of the font, which I will probably decide when constructing my front cover
